You'll be asked a few questions about how to identify and find your vehicle. Access to the cab will also need to be arranged so the glass can be worked from the inside for best results. As long as the vehicle can be found and accessed, the chip can be serviced without anymore hassle on your part while you are in your home or at work. You will be notified when the repair is finished. Payment details can be arranged via text message after you've booked.
Do I need rock chip repair?
This service is organized specifically for small rock chips, and it is important that we do not book you for repairs better handled by otherprofessionals. This means small chips in the glass, typically caused by road debris, usually an inch or so diameter. It is recommended to seek service from a full fledged auto glass shop if any of the following factors are present: 1. The rock chip has a crack extending more than three inches from the center of the break. 2. The damage can be felt on both sides of the glass 3. A crack reaches more than one edge of the windshield. (In these situations you will need a full windshield replacement.) If there are any other uncertainties, it might be a good idea to snap a cell phone pick of the damage and send it in. Otherwise, if none of the above apply, this service is probably ideal for you!
